There are no campsites in South Africa that are fit for purpose for the children we serve. Our Dream is to have our very own custom-designed, eco-friendly and universally accessible camp venue with all the facilities our special campers need and deserve.
Just Footprints Foundation envisions a permanent, purpose-built camp venue that will serve as a sanctuary of healing, joy, and connection for children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and life challenges. This dream space has been designed with full accessibility, a staffed medical unit and natural beauty in mind. It will offer a safe, inclusive environment where children can explore, play, and grow, surrounded by nature and supported by trained staff and volunteer camp crew. Whether tucked into the mountains, the African wildlife bush or near the sea, this exciting, fun adventure camp will embody the spirit of Camp Footprints with a therapeutic impact and will positively change the lives of children: a place where courage is nurtured, friendships flourish, and every child is free to simply be.
